What questions should be asked when organising a corporate event?
If you want to organise a successful business event, in addition to determining the content of the event, you need to consider various other issues in order to choose the right location. We asked Floreal Seminars, operator of 4 different corporate centres in Belgium, to shed some light on the subject.

- What type of event do you want to organise: a seminar, a business meeting, a product presentation, a conference?
- How many people will attend the event?
- How much space and/or rooms do you need? What configuration do you want?
- What technical equipment would you like to have at your event? A projector, audio/video equipment, wifi, LCD, ...
- What is the length of the event? Is it necessary to plan an overnight stay?
- How will the participants come: by own transport, by public transport?
- Do you need to plan additional activities in addition to the work part, such as team building?

The seminar centre in Blankenberge for all kinds of events
The Blankenberge business centre is suitable for all types of events, such as business seminars, conferences and corporate parties. In these days of Covid-19, we talk about capacity in square metres, but this centre has 15 modular rooms and can offer you a room from 26 m² where you can safely go with a small group of people (maximum 20) up to a real auditorium with 650 seats, located right next to a spacious hall. Even if you only use one out of three seats, you can accommodate more than 200 people. In addition, the meeting rooms are extremely well equipped with technical equipment.
The centre has its own accommodation options (hotel rooms, studios and flats) and a large car park. You can also easily get there by public transport: tram, train and bus. The centre is ideally located, just a stone's throw from the sea, opposite the Sea Life Center. It has its own sports field, mini-golf and petanque courts, and its location near the sea always guarantees a successful seminar, with all kinds of other original activities. It is also possible to plan a team building. As far as catering is concerned, there is a lunch sandwich and a gourmet dinner.
The La Roche-en-Ardenne business centre for a green setting
The seminar centre in La Roche-en-Ardenne offers a completely different setting from the one by the sea. It is located in the heart of the green and wooded Ardennes. The 8 seminar rooms range in size from 20 m² to 170 m² and can accommodate 57 people with an occupancy of 1 in 3 seats (170 people in normal occupancy). The rooms are all equipped with modern conference facilities, making it an ideal venue for all kinds of events.
The centre also offers its own accommodation solutions (hotel rooms, studios and flats) and has its own car park. The centre is beautifully situated on the banks of the Ourthe and offers all sorts of pleasant activities: tennis courts, sports ground, fitness trail, petanque courts and countless hiking and mountain bike routes. For team building, we work with external team-building partners. The catering in this centre also offers the possibility of a quick working lunch or a complete gastronomic menu.
The Panoramic business centre in Mont-Saint-Aubert for a unique view
The Mont-Saint-Aubert Congress Centre is called Panoramic because of its location. It is located at a height of 147 metres and offers an exceptional view of the Scheldt Valley and Tournai. It has 7 rooms with modern didactic equipment, ranging in size from 27 m² to 155 m², and can accommodate a maximum of 51 people with an occupancy of 1 in 3 seats (150 people in normal occupancy). You can also come here for all possible business events, such as meetings, seminars or others.
The centre is easily accessible by car, close to the E42 and E429 motorways, but can also be reached by bus. Catering ranges from sandwich buffets to gourmet menus, and overnight accommodation is available in the 46 rooms of the business centre. Team building is also possible.
