Mont-Saint-Aubert: a Top Destination for Hikers
Are you a fan of Nordic walking? Then the annual hiking event in Mont-Saint-Aubert, near Tournai, is a must on your calendar. Every year on Easter Monday, thousands of walkers head into the hills. From the summit, you can enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the surrounding countryside.

Those who wish to explore the region at another time of the year will find hiking maps and tailored walking routes at Floreal Mont-Saint-Aubert. You can easily combine your walk with a visit to the Belfry and the Cathedral of Our Lady in Tournai, both listed as (UNESCO World Heritage Sites).
Discover the Dunes and Polders of the Belgian Coast
Do you dream of fresh sea air, wide sandy beaches and beautiful natural landscapes? The walking weekends organised by Floreal Holidays in Nieuwpoort and Blankenberge take you to some of the most beautiful spots along the Belgian coast. Several times a year, we offer guided walking routes of around ten kilometres, each centred around a specific theme.
An experienced guide will lead you through polders, dunes and nature reserves while sharing fascinating insights into the region’s fauna, flora, history and geography. Our coastal walks usually take place in November and January, with new routes every year for returning walkers.
Pure Nature in the Belgian Ardennes
La Roche-en-Ardenne is a classic destination for hikers. Countless routes start from this charming town on the Ourthe River, ranging from short family walks and full-day hikes to panoramic trails through forests and past castle ruins.
Neufchâteau, located in the heart of the Ardennes, surprises visitors with peaceful walks around the town’s two lakes. The circular routes combine water, woodland and scenic viewpoints, making them ideal for those seeking a relaxing walk in a green and tranquil setting.
Houffalize is known as the hiking and mountain biking capital of the Ardennes. Here, you will find the renowned Escapardenne Eisleck Trail, an internationally recognised long-distance hiking route, as well as shorter loops along the Ourthe Valley and the Nisramont Dam.
Bouillon, beautifully situated on the banks of the Semois River, offers routes that take you along rocky ridges and through deep forests. Highlights include the Tombeau du Géant, a spectacular natural viewpoint shaped like a giant’s tomb, and the adventurous Sentier des Crêtes trail.
