Take a harbour tour with the free ferry, even with your bike on board! With the Seastar, you explore the Euro marina and the IJzermonding nature reserve. For a combination of cycling and sailing, choose the IJzerstar and discover the Westhoek and polders between Nieuwpoort and Diksmuide. Cycle along country roads and car-free paths, and sail back via the IJzer. A unique experience on the Belgian coast!

Nature reserves

Visit the IJzermonding and the Koolhofput, two nature reserves less than 3 km apart. Explore these areas by bike, mountain bike or on foot.

IJzermonding: Ideal for bird lovers and nature photographers. Discover salt marsh creeks, mudflats and salt marshes from the bird observation hut and viewing screens.

Koolhofput: Enjoy birdwatching, picnicking and cycling. This provincial domain is the starting point of the Frontzate cycling route and has a dedicated mountain bike trail.
