As camping is once again becoming popular and with a particular interest in the field, the Floreal Group recently acquired the campsite Gossaimont.

FOR EXCEPTIONAL HOLIDAYS

The campsite has an exceptional situation in the High Belgian Ardennes (altitude 480m) a guarantee of clean air and quiet. 16 acres on a grassy south facing slope with trees and ponds Gossaimont offers 275 pitches, with the possibility of another 100, 4 sanitary blocks, either new or renovated, a shop, a bar and playground : a campsite with with a great potential.

The president of Floreal Group underlined the importance of this purchase in the folowing terms "We are delighted with this acquisition. Our campsites in La Roche-en-Ardenne are close to saturation. Gossaimont is the best possible solution".

Important investments have already been made for the comfort of the campers and with a view of obtaining a 3rd star. The old sanitary blocks have been renovated and 2 new ones added. Other projects include the development of the ponds, the construction of chalets and the rent of residential caravans, all of which are in the region's economic interest.

The Secretary of State, Philippe Courard, also present at thge inauguration, noted that the Floreal Group had taken special care in choosing sanitary blocks conceived especially for those with reduced mobility.

The local authorities have been reassured by the arrival of one of the most important actors in the camping sector. The mayor, Francis Samray is particulary pleased by the arrival of a shop since the small businesses in the village have gradually disappeared.

Finally, let us remember that the campsite of Gossaimont plays an important role in social tourism (tourism for all) as it allows campers the possibility to benefit from an affordable holiday home. In fact 80% of the pitches at Gossaimont are occupied by residential caravans on a annual basis.
