Human resources executive, soft HR ( M/F/X )

As a human resources soft HR officer, you will be the point of contact within operations for our managers and employees regarding human resources issues. You will also act as a connection to the company's HR director. You will think critically with the organisation about how employees can best develop with us and how we can increase overall employee engagement. You will report directly to the Director of Human Resources.

 

As an employee human resources soft HR:

  • You will manage talent and recruitment processes.
  • You act as an intermediary for both employees at our sites and nationally (‘internal customers’) and are regularly on site at the sites.
  • You provide advice and support to the operational management and HR management.
  • You supervise change processes within the organisation, both collectively and individually.
  • You implement group HR policies, apply them locally and monitor compliance.

 

Talent Management

  • You supervise and monitor talent and performance management.
  • You conduct individual career interviews with employees.In a first phase (1-3 years) with HM levels and N-1 and in a second phase (within 3 years) with the rest of the company.
  • This is to gradually establish a living and effective planning management.
  • You maintain a good overview of the talents within the organisation.
  • You develop a planning management policy and prepare for the future by responding to needs (setting up a database of candidates, drawing up employee training plans, etc.).

 

Talent Acquisition

  • In cooperation with the OPS, you ensure active monitoring of vacancies. ( checking needs, drafting and following up vacancy texts,1st selection of CVs, ... )
  • You work together with the operational management, the HR management, the communication department and the OPS to develop a training plan.
  • You will participate in competency-based interviews with candidates and provide the necessary support to the OPS to successfully complete the recruitment process.
  • You will prepare the necessary administrative documents for the signing of the employment contract (individual sheet, RT, insurance documents, car, mobile phone, e-mail, etc.).
  • In cooperation with the HMs and the OPS, you ensure the proper functioning and follow-up of the onboarding plan for new employees. ( drawing up welcome brochure )

 

Administrative follow-up

  • You will act as a point of contact between employees, the HR Payroll Officer and the HR Director regarding payroll problems and issues.

 

Profile

  • Good knowledge of Belgian social legislation and trends in general HR practices.
  • You are willing to travel regularly to the offices in Flanders and Wallonia
  • You are passionate about people and organisations.
  • You have an analytical vision, think critically with the company and challenge managers in their ideas.
  • You have a high level of integrity.
  • You are patient and respectful towards your colleagues.
  • You are proactive and know how to anticipate potential problems.
  • You can communicate fluently in NL/FR, both orally and in writing.
  • You have strong organisational skills.
  • You have at least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar position.
